Thomas was born in California, but left for the glitz and glamour of the Pacific Northwest. When questioned about how leaving California affected his film career, Thomas said, "Thank you for saying I have a film career." He works closely with his writing partner, Ken Runnion, on many projects including "Baked Alaska: Quick Hits" and "WHS". They also portray the same characters on each show. Runnion was quoted once saying, "It's a blurred line as to where Thomas and Ken end and Deck and Jody begin. It consumes our souls and it's a rabbit hole we can't seem to climb out of." Hide
