Jon Douglas Rainey was born in Camden, New Jersey. He made the Presidents List & Deans List at Camden County College while majoring in Communications. Jon served honorably in the United States Coast Guard & returned to the mainland to work as a licensed Private Detective on domestic, insurance fraud & missing person cases. Years later, while moonlighting as an actor in Philadelphia theater, he decided to switch from being in the investigative business to the entertainment business & moved to New York City where he continued acting & also hosted the Discovery Channel show "It Takes a Thief" in which he educated millions of people on home security & personal safety. Since then, Jon has been working in film, television & theater as a writer, actor, voice over artist & host, plus he is a producer with 2 studios, Radio Vision Network & Letter 8 Media in New Jersey.
